Visualisations are design concepts rather than exact reproductions of the final surface. Physical samples and the agreed project brief remain more appropriate where precise material approval is required.
The decorative finish begins after the wall is fit to receive it.
Existing surfaces are assessed before scope is confirmed. Substrate correction, moisture issues, structural movement, waterproofing, electrical work, plumbing, joinery and other specialist works are not silently absorbed into a decorative-finish specification.
Where another trade or compliant construction step is required first, that interface should be identified and sequenced before final application.

Specify natural marble when genuine stone is the requirement. MarbLayer should not be substituted into a specification that requires the material properties, provenance or geological authenticity of natural stone.
It becomes relevant when the design objective is a bespoke marble-inspired surface and the project team is open to a hand-applied decorative system instead of full stone slabs or manufactured panels.
